TedX Amsterdam
'Bittersweet right?'
Having stirred the audience into provocative musings about the human cost of purveying sugar. The Ted X talk began. Using an interactive method to hit the message home, really impacted the audience. It was exciting and nerve-wracking to see their reactions.
I presented Code Noir, the journey we have been on and where we hope to take it. And about the premise of using food as a positive tool for change.
The audience gave great responses and feedback, from Tony Chocolonely @tonychocolonely that offered collaboration, to scale up guidance by Startup Bootcamp @startupbootcamp, and potential collaboration and funding from Gemeente Amsterdam @gemeenteamsterdam. Thank you for seeing the vision and wanting to be a part of it.
Overall being part of TedX Amsterdam @tedxamsterdam Ted x impact Program was an absolute dream. I won’t lie I had reservations because I wasn’t sure if the programme always fitted the concept. But looking back now I think that was my own saboteur. It helped me sharpen my offer, articulate what the project is and made me take myself more seriously.
Thank you @le_coq05 for your sharp guidance. Thank you @suuskess for tireless management of the overall programme. Thank you @coco_lise_seignette for your trust in me, and push to apply in the first place. Thank you to the whole @tedxamsterdam team for making me dream, beyond my dream. And wow, thank you @capitalC for this amazing and inspiring location.
